Kutaisi Mayor Ioseb Khakhaleishvili met the regional director of European Reconstruction and Development Bank in Caucasus Catarina Byorlin Hansen. They talked about the pilot program, which is going to be run by EBRD in Georgia in cooperation with the innovation and technology agency GYTA and IT company Strategist. The program addresses 5 chosen cities, among them there is Kutaisi as the regional center and it considers training the youth as the professionals in high-level IT technologies.

“We are launching the interesting and important project with the regional office of European Reconstruction and Development Bank. Kutaisi youth is given the chance to get aware of high-level informational technologies free of charge. The duration of the course will be 1 year. The selected students will have undergone the training and the successful ones will be offered the employment by IT companies”-stated the Mayor of Kutaisi Ioseb Khakhaleishvili.
