Road pavement restoration works are underway on several streets in Kutaisi at the same time. Mayor of Kutaisi Giorgi Tchighvaria got acquainted with the progress of infrastructure projects together with Vakisubani majoritarian Mamuka Rizhamadze.
The situation in Mtsvanekvavila, Luka Asatiani and Leselidze streets was in bad condition. Until now, the carriageway remained unregulated in the mentioned streets. Residents have been asking for help for years. The retaining work on the retaining wall on Mtsvanekvavila was timely and important as it posed a threat to the local population.
By the decision of the self-government, the concrete pavement on all three streets was completely laid. Contractors were selected on a pre-announced tender. 155,700 GEL was spent on Mtsvanekvavila, 93,835.28 GEL on Luka Asatiani Street, and 242,669.52 GEL on Leselidze Street. The Mayor also inspected the drainage canals and road rehabilitation works in Tabukashvili Street lanes. The road in Tabukashvili 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th lanes will be completely asphalted, for which up to 300 thousand GEL will be spent. "We are building the roads that have been a fair demand of the local population for a long time. "Our government's priority is to improve the infrastructure, which we are implementing at the same time," said Giorgi Tchighvaria.
