The official delegation of Kutaisi City Hall headed by Ioseb Khakhaleishvili has paid a business visit to the city of Estonia, Tartu at the Ceremony dedicated to the status of European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024.

Within the framework of the visit, several business meetings have been held, including with the heads of Culture Service and UNESCO Coordinator in Tartu. The meetings mentioned above referred to the future business relationship.

Tartu, like Kutaisi, holds the status of UNESCO City of Literature; consequently the host party shared the experience of many years with Georgian delegation in this direction.

The Mayor of Kutaisi, Ioseb Khakhaleishvili invited Tartu Official Delegation to the celebration of Kutaisi City Day, held on 2 May.
