"We attended an interesting event today at Akaki Tsereteli State University - the presentation of the translation of the book "Caucasians" by the famous German writer Arthur Suttner. The book was translated by our compatriot, doctor of philosophy, Germanist Tamaz Gvenetadze, who has been working in Germany for years and promotes the development of friendly relations between the two countries.
The work of Arthur Gundaccar Freiherr von Suttner and his wife, Nobel laureate Bertha von Suttner, is another proof that Europe, as a cultural phenomenon, has always been relevant in Georgia. The fact that the Zutners lived in Kutaisi for some time at the end of the 19th century is also important.
It should be noted that the event was held within the framework of the "Kutaisi-UNESCO city of Literature." With this status, our city will offer many more interesting projects and innovations," said Ioseb Khakhaleishvili.
