Many families in crises were helped through the emergence program of Kutaisi City Hall. Deputy Mayor of Kutaisi, Nino Tvaltvadze, the Head of the Social Affairs Service Ioseb Chijavadze and Imereti Development Center Director Davit Chkhobadze visited one of such families.

The house of the Khaduri family was destroyed by fire. A father and 13-year-old daughter found themselves in an unbearable situation. Within the framework of Kutaisi City Hall social programs, the family received various types of assistance, including medical and infrastructural. With the help of World Vision, the renovation of the apartment began, the SOS Children's Village was supplied with furniture, and the issue of the child going to school was settled. The girl also goes to a homeless children's day center.

"We have set up an emergency program to help families in crisis and have already provided vital assistance to several families. We are contacting various organizations, asking for their involvement to help such families, and we are facing the consequences - the situation of all these families has significantly improved, "- said Deputy Mayor of Kutaisi Nino Tvaltvadze.
