Today is the International Day for the Protection of Persons with Disabilities.  The Deputy Mayor of Kutaisi  Nino Tvaltvadze together with city council's member  MP Mamuka Rizhamadze visited the Children's Day Centers. At the Children's Day Centers, the Bridge for Social Inclusion and the Rehabilitation Center presented guests with souvenirs.

The integration of people with disabilities is a prerequisite for our development. It is unfortunate that the realization of the rights of persons with disabilities, their integration into society, equal access to their public goods, public awareness and the level of awareness remain problematic in Georgia. Celebrating this day is necessary for the society to accept these people as equal members, "said  Nino Tvaltvadze.
