The Mayor of Kutaisi together with the representative of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development and the Vice Governor of Imereti, Grigol Dalakishvili brought the roofed material to the population affected by the disaster. The disaster damaged the roofs of about 200 houses in Kutaisi. All of them will be given roofing material. According to the decision of the government, the high-rise buildings will not only be provided with roofing materials, but also the installation works will be fully funded, and the affected owners of private houses will be provided with the materials free of charge.

Roofing works are currently underway. This process will be completed in two days. The disaster significantly affected Kutaisi two days ago. Until now, all relevant services of Kutaisi City Hall remain in emergency mode. An emergency headquarters has been set up.
