The awarding of the winning municipalities in the best practice competition for 2018-2019 announced by the National Association of Local Self-Government of Georgia (NALAG) was held in Tbilisi. Kutaisi city Municipality won the nomination "Municipal Social Programs for Vulnerable Groups" for the project "Promoting Small Business for Large Families" recognized as the best practice on the topic. The program was implemented in cooperation with the Women Entrepreneurs Foundation. The mayor of kutaisi -  Giorgi Chighvaria and Deputy Mayor Nino Tvaltvadze attended the award ceremony. "Participation in the annual competition of the best practice program is one of the most important moments for the evaluation of our activities for Kutaisi City Municipality. The effectiveness of the work of the local self-government according to the separate areas and directions will ultimately provide a unified picture of what and what kind of work we have done during 2019. At the same time, we will determine next year's priorities accordingly. At the same time, this competition is the best way for cooperation and sharing good practices between self-governments. " - said the mayor of Kutaisi - Giorgi Chighvaria at the award ceremony.
