In cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Georgia Office, Kutaisi City Hall and Kutaisi Youth Center, "60+ Clubs for Healthy and Active Living" is working in Kutaisi. The first event of the club, called "Grandma's Taste", was held on December 19 at the restaurant "Debi". The main goal of the event was to promote healthy eating and lifestyle, as well as to promote dialogue between the generations. Members of "60+ Club" and students under 12 years of age competed in the culinary competition.
By creating "60+ clubs", the state will support the implementation of a healthy and active aging policy. With the assistance of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Georgia Office, a concept of a state aging policy has been developed and adopted.
