Forum - "Development of the 2019 budget of Kutaisi city Municipality together with the people" is over.

The participants presented several important projects to the local self-government: social, infrastructural and youth.

Attendees also revealed today by open voting the 3 projects that will be submitted to the Mayor's Advisory Board for consideration and one of them will be reflected in the 2019 budget of Kutaisi.

Installation of new, environmentally safe attractions in kindergartens, facade, sidewalk outdoor lighting issues and ancillary farming. These are the 3 projects that the forum participants openly supported.

The purpose of the Population Forum was to enable citizens to identify problems in the city, as they were able to solve the latter together with government officials.

The approved version of the 2019 budget will be 53 million. Kutaisi expects 11 million GEL transfer from RFF, which was 8 million last year. In addition, the equalization transfer will increase by GEL 1,765,000. The main priorities of the 2019 budget are infrastructure and social issues.

Public hearings on the main financial document of Kutaisi City Municipality for 2019 will continue and the population will be actively involved in it.
