Kutaisi Tourism Center hosts representatives of the World Federation of Guide Associations. 180 guides and tour operators have already visited the city. The guests got acquainted with the tourist potential of Kutaisi, visited the tourism center.

Deputy of kutaisi Mayor Nino Tvaltvadze met the guides and addressed them. Nino Tvaltvadze also answered the questions of foreign journalists who are preparing materials on the tourism potential of Kutaisi. The Congress of the World Federation of Guide Associations is held every 2 years. The host country is appointed by the method of elections. Delegates from a member state of the Federation will take part in the elections. Georgia's candidacy won the victory against Thailand and New York two years ago.
