In order to identify examples of best practices in Georgian municipalities and share their experiences with other municipalities, the Georgian National Association of Local Governments (NALAG) is announcing a best practice competition under the Efficiency and Development Network (N4ED) project. The organization held a meeting on these issues in Kutaisi local self-government, which was attended by the Deputy Mayor Nino Tvaltvadze. The Efficiency and Development Network (N4ED) project is an EU-funded initiative aimed at establishing inclusive governance and participatory planning in Georgian municipalities, introducing a performance appraisal and monitoring system, as well as promoting cooperation and good practice sharing between local governments. The project is implemented in all municipalities of Georgia.
