On the occasion of Teacher's Day, an event was organized by the Kutaisi A (A) IP Cultural Institutions Association at the Balanchivadze Opera and Ballet Theater. The event was attended by the mayor of kutaisi Giorgi Chighvaria, the Vice Mayor Giorgi Iobashvili, Imereti Vice Governor Grigol Dalakishvili, Deputy Chairman of the City Council Ramaz Chkhikvadze, Kutaisi Majoritarian MP, Genadi Margvelashvili and the head of Kutaisi Education Resource Center Giga Tsibadze.

The mayor of the city Giorgi Chighvaria congratulated the teachers on their professional day and noted that teaching is one of the most difficult and responsible professions, it is the teachers who raise the worthy generations of the country.

38 public school teachers, as well as teachers of 37 kindergartens and 9 cultural, artistic and educational institutions were awarded cash prizes.

11 meritorious teachers were also awarded. Out of this, the badge "Amagdari" was given to 4 teachers.
