The next sitting of the Civil Advisory Board of Kutaisi city Municipality was held today. The council members discussed several issues and expressed their views, which will be submitted to the local government as a recommendation. The sitting was chaired by the Deputy Mayor Nino Tvaltavdze. At the meeting, information was heard about the signing of a memorandum between Kutaisi City Hall and the International Climate Organization, according to which the city should switch to 100% renewable energy by 2050.
Council members also discussed civic initiatives launched on the website volis.kutaisi.gov.ge. 26 applications have been registered so far.
By the decision of the Board, on October 22, all the initiators of the ideas and projects will be heard and then it will be decided which 3 initiatives will be supported.
