Mayor of Kutaisi City Municipality Ioseb Khakhaleishvili took part in an online meeting held by the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.

The Ministry, in cooperation with the EU Delegation to Georgia, organized an online meeting with development partners to support the implementation of the Pilot Program - Integrated Development of Regions.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss ongoing events, needs and plans of integrated territorial development policy for cooperation with international organizations at the central and regional levels.

During the online meeting was discussed the experience gained during the implementation of the government program for the development of the pilot regions 2020-2022 and the needs of the region.

The Pilot Program - Integrated Development of Regions is an integrated regional development policy document developed in line with the EU's modern approaches and aims to create convenient environment and balanced sustainable socio-economic development.
