In connection with the beginning of the new school year, the  Mayor Giorgi Chighvaria together with the Vice Mayor Giorgi Iobashvili visited the first and third public schools of the city. The Mayor of Kutaisi congratulated the students and teachers on the beginning of the new school year.

"Today is an important day for the whole of Georgia. Education has been and still remains our country number one concern. Kutaisi is meeting this new school year with a special attitude. Within the framework of the "Millennium" program, with the help of our foreign friends, we are overhauling several schools, it can be said that several schools are being rebuilt.
