In the Italian city of Cosenza, Kutaisi artists took part in an international competition Bocs Art. The mayor  Giorgi Chighvaria, the Vice Mayor Giorgi Iobashvili and local self-government representatives were present at the final exhibition at the invitation of the Italian side.

It was a great honor for us to visit Cosenza, where our artists were hosted. I am glad that similar cooperation is planned in other artistic fields as well, ”said the mayor of Kutaisi.

Cosenza Mayor Mario Ochiuto and Giorgi Chighvaria talked about the details of future cooperation. "We have cooperation and it will continue in different directions in the future," said Mario Ochiuto.

The Italian city of Cosenza and Kutaisi are sister cities. The parties signed a memorandum of understanding in May. These relations include cooperation in cultural, economic and tourism issues.
