Cooperation agreement was signed between Kutaisi and Gabrovo municipalities.
For the purpose of cooperation and partnership between the Republics of Georgia and Bulgaria, the embassies of both countries selected Kutaisi and Gabrovo.
Due to the pandemic, the signing ceremony of the agreement was held in an online format in which was involved the Ambassador of Georgia to Bulgaria H.E. Tamar Liluashvili.
Mayor of Kutaisi Ioseb Khakhaleishvili and Mayor of Gabrovo Tania Khristova signed an agreement aimed at establishing friendly relations between two cities, promoting historical, cultural and national traditions, sharing bilateral experiences in the fields of education, administration, economy, business and healthcare.
"Today we have signed a cooperation agreement with the Bulgarian city of Gabrovo. This initiative belonged to our embassy and I would like to thank the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Bulgaria, H.E. Tamar Liluashvili. The aim of this collaboration is to promote friendship and sharing experiences between the two cities in various spheres.
I believe that the pandemic will end soon and we will host citizens of Gabrovo in Kutaisi, ”said Ioseb Khakhaleishvili.
