Mayor of Kutaisi Ioseb Khakhaleishvili hosted Alexandru Ambrose, Mayor of Ungheni, Moldova. Ungheni and Kutaisi are sister cities and have a long tradition of joint cooperation. Several international projects have been implemented with the participation of these two cities with EU funding. Currently, Ungheni and Kutaisi are implementing the project "Rivers without Waste - Clean Black Sea". Mayor of Ungheni arrived in Kutaisi to participate in the final conference of the project.

"The friendship between Kutaisi and the city of Ungheni is exemplary. We are already implementing the fourth joint project together and we have good results. I believe we will do many good things together with the help of international organizations, " said Ioseb Khakhaleishvili.
