Public discussion on the youth policy document has finished in Kutaisi

The concluding meeting was held at the College ‘Iberia’. The meeting was attended by the Mayor of Kutaisi Ioseb Khakhaleishvili, representatives of non-governmental and youth organizations and stakeholders.

Kutaisi City Hall, together with the LEPL Youth Agency, has been working on creating a Youth Policy Document for more than a year. A Needs Study has already been conducted and a working document has been created based on these studies.

"Youth programs are the most important part of our work and plans. We have conducted serious research and work with the Youth Agency to develop a youth strategy document.

We organized public discussions of the adopted document, as a result of which the goals set out in the youth policy document were finally formed. The most important thing now is to support our young people in implementing these goals and plans, " said Ioseb Khakhaleishvili.

The youth policy document will be approved at the Kutaisi City Council’s session.
