The Mayor of Kutaisi Ioseb Khakhaleishvili, the Chairman of the City Council Irakli Shengelia and the Deputy Mayor Irakli Karkashadze attended the ‘Employment Forum for People with Disabilities’.

The forum was initiated by the Administration of President of Georgia and organized by LEPL State Employment Promotion Agency. The forum is supported by Kutaisi City Hall, Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) and Akaki Tsereteli State University.

 "We often repeat that there are no disabilities, there is a limited environment and our goal is to adapt this environment to these people so that they can find working places and make self-realization.

 The Employment Forum is an important and effective tool for promoting the employment of job seekers. "Today they have the opportunity to get acquainted with vacancies in one space and choose different offers from several potential employers," - said Ioseb Khakhaleishvili.

At the employment forum, 22 companies offered more than 100 vacancies to job-seeking people with disabilities.
