In Kutaisi, the memorial to the victims of the August war was glossed overthe flowers. Local government officials and citizens paid tribute to the souls of theheroes   killed   in   the   war.   Funeral   services   were   held   at   the   memorial   tocommemorate the souls of the dead."Today 10 years   passed since the start of the 2008 Russia-Georgia war.August 8 is a day of remembrance for those killed in the war. On this day we onceagain honor  our   heroes who have  done  the most   for the homeland.   "Georgianpeople will never forget them," said the Mayor Giorgi Tchighvaria.A photo exhibition of the August war was also held at the memorial.
