Kutaisi has started the sorting of the humanitarian cargo collected for sending to Ukraine. The Imereti Destination Management Organization (Tourism Center) is actively collecting the Humanitarian cargo. Red Cross volunteers are involved in the sorting process.

“Our city continues to actively collect aid for our friendly Ukrainians. Today I was at the "Tourism Center", where has already started sorting the collected cargo. Red Cross volunteers are involved in this process.

I would like to thank all the people, all the organizations that responded to our initiative and took part in the humanitarian action.

Also, in a very short time, with the money collected in a special account, we will buy medicines, food, basic necessities and send them to Ukraine with the help of the central government.

We will continue the action until our friendly Ukrainians need it.

I believe that the war will end soon and Ukraine will continue to develop peacefully! "- said  Mayor of Kutaisi  City - Ioseb Khakhaleishvili.

The first part of humanitarian cargo collected in Kutaisi will be sent to Ukraine soon.
