️In Kutaisi were held events dedicated to Mother Language Day . The Mayor of Kutaisi Ioseb Khakhaleishvili and representatives of local self-government took part in the events.
An exhibition dedicated to Mother Language Day was held at the David Kakabadze Fine Art Gallery and the winners of the traditional competition "Georgian Manuscript" were awarded. Winners of the calligraphy competition:
️ Teachers: I place - Maka Bardavelidze, N1 Public School; II place - Nato Dangadze, N24 Public School; III place - Ketevan Mindiashvili, M. Chokhonelidze Author School;
️Students: I place - Elene Endeladze, N15 public school; II place - Tamar Chapichadze, N1 public school; III place - Lolita Chaganava, N24 Public School.
️ Berdzenishvili Kutaisi Historical-Ethnographic Museum presented a manuscript "The Knight in the Panther’s Skin" created by students. Also the presentation of the catalog " The Knight in the Panther’s Skin in pupils’ paintings" and the exhibition "Autographs of Georgian writers and public figures" were held .
️" On April 14/ 1978, the Georgian people through a united effort maintained the status of the Georgian language as a state language and defended their identity. We have a unique script and language and it is our duty to take care of this treasure. Today we awarded the winners of the "Calligraphy" competition. We are proud of such a special attitude of our fellow citizens to their native language. The manuscript created by the students " The Knight in the Panther’s Skin " was presented in the State Museum, which is illustrated with their drawings.
