Mayor of Kutaisi Ioseb Khakhaleishvili and State Representative of Imereti Region Zviad Shalamberidze met with representatives of Latvian self-governments.

 At the meeting were discussed the tourism potential of Kutaisi and Imereti, business environment, public administration, investment and industrial resources.

 Representatives of the delegation spoke about the experience and successful practice of self-government in the Baltic States. It was planned to implement exchange programs in different directions and to deepen cooperation between the twin-cities.
