Mayor of Kutaisi Ioseb Khakhaleishvili,  together with   Deputy Mayor   Irakli Karkashadze, visited the day center of the charity fund "Caritas Georgia" and gotto know with the activities of the fund.Caritas Georgia has been involved in charitable activities in Kutaisi since 1995, and the day center has been operating since 2000.The mayor of the city held a meeting with the program manager of Western Georgia and the coordinator of the day center.Currently, the Foundation is cooperating with two programs of Kutaisi City Hall on the basis of a memorandum - these are home care and emergency responseprograms."We had an interesting meeting with the representatives of Caritas Georgia'sKutaisi office. We got acquainted with the activities of the foundation, the projectsthat   are   under   the   implementation,   visited   the   day   center,   also   met   with   thebeneficiaries. We also talked about future plans. Kutaisi City Municipality will expandthe area of cooperation with Carita. We hope that the experience of this fund will be shared by our city and this cooperation will be fruitful and successful, ”said Ioseb Khakhaleishvili. 104 students from Kutaisi are receiving education at the Day Care Center forChildren from Socially Vulnerable Families at Caritas Georgia. In addition to the school curriculum, they have entertaining and cognitive lessons, and are members of various creative circles.
