The Mayor of Kutaisi City Municipality, Ioseb Khakhaleishvili participated in the event organized by UNICEF, where the children from Kutaisi held the innovative training for decision making people.

UNICEF representative in Georgia Ghassan Khalil, Members of Parliement, Minister’s Assistants, Governmental Agencies and the representatives of the Court attended the meeting.

 The goal of the seminar was to support the awareness raising of children’s rights and gain the participants with the knowledge and skills as needed, just to be actively involved in the advocacy of children’s rights.

 The training was led by the group of the students from Kutaisi public schools, who were actively involved in the advocacy process of children’s rights with the support of the center for children’s rights from Akaki Tsereteli State University.
