By the initiative of Kutaisi City Hall, events dedicated to the International Children's Day were held in the city.

Children could see performances by fairy-tale characters, funny clowns, and puppet and mask theaters in Central Boulevard.

"I congratulate our children on the International Children's Day! We wanted to give them a beautiful day. Various performances for children were held in the Central Boulevard, in the yard of the Puppet Theater and in Gabashvili Park all day long. Kutaisi City Hall also funded entertainment for children with attractions. There was held young artists exhibition in an open area.

All children should be happy and it is our duty to create healthy living conditions for them.

I wish our children a happy childhood and a bright future! ” said Mayor of Kutaisi Ioseb Khakhaleishvili.

Confectionery company "Barambo" and bread house "Tavtukhi" presented children with sweets.

At the end of the day, a concert was held with the participation of local children's musical studios.
