The retaining wall on Kikvidze Street is being rehabilitated in Kutaisi. The working process was visited by the Mayor of the city Ioseb Khakhaleishvili, the Deputy Mayor Yuza Ugulava and the Head of the Infrastructure Development and Improvement Service Beka Kurashvili.
Arrangement of a retaining wall at # 19 Kikvidze Street Second Lane became necessary as a result of the natural disaster in February. 255 000 GEL was allocated for the works from the disaster fund.
Damage to the retaining wall on Kikvidze Street posed certain dangers to the population. Therefore, we have decided to start rehabilitating the wall so that citizens can move and live in the vicinity of this place, ”said the mayor of the city- Ioseb Khakhaleishvili.
Drainage and sewerage system is being upgraded in the mentioned area, reinforced concrete wall is being restored, metal railings will also be made. The works, which will be carried out by the company "Sakmilsadenmsheni", which won the tender, will be completed in August.
The mayor of the city also visited the rehabilitated road on Mosashvili Street and Leselidze 5th Lane. 98,000 GEL was spent on the restoration of the road surface on these streets. The works were performed by "Georoudinvest".
