About 60 families of internally displaced persons veterans were provided with apartments in newly built buildings in Kutaisi and Zugdidi.

The Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs Ekaterine Tikaradze, the Director of the IDP Agency Besarion Simonishvili, the Mayor of Kutaisi Ioseb Khakhaleishvili, the Member of Parliament, Zaza Lominadze and State Representative in Imereti Zviad Shalamberidze handed over the keys to the IDP families.

Up to 100 more families of IDP veterans will receive apartments in the near future.

A special project to resettle IDP veteran was implemented for the first time this year.
